It’s no secret that we love us some Trials Evolution over here. It’s mental, painful fun that will leave a controller or two embedded in your TV screen, and yet, we always come back crawling to it once we finally nail that crucial jump. Xbox owners have been engaging in this digital masochistic behaviour for a while now, and finally, the game is headed to PC.
Trials Evolution on PC will launch early next year, with quite a few bells and whistles attached, in a gold edition, which is excellent news for gamers who enjoy constantly failing and being set on fire. Red Lynx has confirmed that the Gold Edition will have all sorts of extras, a full multiplayer mode and all of the levels from the first Trials game, alongside the track builder that allows players to make more than just motocross games.
As for Xbox 360 players, there’s a new DLC pack on the horizon, called the Origin of Pain. Expect more crashes and bataranged controllers, as there will be 36 new levels which will most likely cause a spike in people ripping their hair out. The DLC pack aslo adds a new BMX dirt bike with which to fail spectacularly in.
