Mark Rein has responded to a posting on the epic forums about the release date for Unreal Tournament 3.
We do not know exactly when the game will be completed. All we’ve said is that we’re hoping for a November release but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now so there’s no guarantee of that.
So is this your typical marketing mumbo jumbo or a pre-emptive warning to us all that we won’t be playing Unreal Tournament over the holiday season?
This really only applies to the PS3 version as the Xbox 360 version was only planned for release in Q2 of 2008….

Oh my, if this gets delayed for the PS3 there goes the “exclusivity” window advantage it had for the Xmas period.

I doubt it, they’ll just push the x360 version back some more… pfft! politics I can’t wait for the x360 one though so I can pawn you guyz! MWAHAHAHAHA! instagib!

I think i will get some joypad practice on the PS3 when this is out. Dont feel like crowding the sofa with a keyboard & mouse combo. 🙂
