If you remember a while back I posted a request to try and get Alone in the Dark on the cover of PCFormat… Well we lost that vote to the sexy babe instead. Not that we could ever call getting to look at a sexy babe a loss but there you have it.
This time around we have a choice between Far Cry 2, a smoking hot cover and a babe (who I hate to say just doesn’t do it for me).
So for me the biggest decision is between the awesome looking Far Cry 2 and the awesome looking hot lady…
By rights we should be voting for the gaming cover to try and get more mainstream coverage of the gaming industry but that other cover is also pretty impressive.

Whats the point of putting a hot babe on the cover of a PC mag? Thats shameless exploitation of male urges. What about girl gamers? I vote for the game cover instead of the mindless sex object. If I wanted to look at hot babes I just buy the FHM. PC Format is seriously on the wrong track imo.

PC FOrmat has been around for years, the fact that they’re still around implies that the mag sells. Which is weird considering that the types of people who would need to buy the mag already have broadband DSL and would probably already know the “breaking news” long before it the issues hit our shelves.

The mag probably sells good but it just seems cheap that they would lure in buyers with some cheap babe on the cover that acts like she got the hots for some PC parts. I just thought consumers where smarter than that. I guess they’re not.
Maybe lazygamer should get a babe-of-the-day feature going to lure in some horny teens just like PC Format? 🙂

I buy pc format. While the chick on the cover is nice, it’s not why I buy the magazine. I don’t buy it for the news either.
It’s the articles.
