Welcome to BlizzCon 2015!

After nearly a solid day of flying, I’ve managed to go 10 hours back in time. I firmly believe that I have time travelled, and I’ve told everybody that would listen that the future is dark, mysterious, and foreboding. I’ve been met with nothing but stony stares (or stoned stares mind you – I am in California), and eyes filled with disgust.

Also, it’s Thursday here, and Friday back home, so please forgive me if I’m a bit nonsensical – my brain has no idea what the hell this time difference sorcery is. Point is, I survived the long trip (thank you in-flight entertainment) and I’m now here in Los Angeles, ready to bring you every bit of news I humanly can straight out of BlizzCon 2015.

What a conference it’s going to be too, or at least, I’m hoping it is. Last year, Blizzard surprised the world with a brand new IP – Overwatch. An announcement of that scale seems unlikely to happen again anytime soon, but that hasn’t swayed my enthusiasm. Will we be seeing Warcraft IV? A new Diablo Expansion perhaps? I sure hope so!

Even if we don’t, there is a ton to look forward to. The show this year will bring forth fresh news for Overwatch, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, and Diablo III. If you have any kind of interest in any of these titles, best you stick around to see what they’ll be bringing to the table in the near future.

In order to really appreciate the show, you’ll need to grab a virtual ticket. If you’ve already done so, there are a lot of panels and discussions to watch. These are just a few to really keep an eye on though:

Friday, November 6

12:30 – 2:00pm: World of Warcraft: Legion World and Content Overview
12:30 – 1:30pm: The Future of StarCraft II
3:30 – 4:30pm: Hearthstone: What’s Next
3:30 – 4:30pm: Blood and Treasure: New Content and Features for Reaper of the Souls
4:45 – 5:45pm: Overwatch: What’s New

Saturday, November 7

11:30 – 12:30pm: The World of Overwatch
11:00 – 12:30pm: Heroes of the Storm: State of the Game
4:00 – 5:00pm: Heroes of the Storm: Battlegrounds

There are a few overlaps, so pick carefully. Don’t forget to add 10 hours to these times if you’ll be watching back home in South Africa. If you don’t plan on it, well, fear not… that’s what I’m here for.
