According to recent reports, consumers are using their Xbox 360s more for entertainment, through music and video apps, than for gaming (XBOX HAS NO GAEMZ!) – but here’s something nobody expected people to use Microsoft’s console for:
Smuggling cocaine.
According to KFOX14, Carlos Valenzuela was pulled over by the fuzz in El Paso, Texas in a routine traffic stop for failing to use a turn signal. Instead of just issuing him with a ticket, police found him to be visibly nervous – and noticed he kept looking over at his satchel bag. Examination of the bag revealed a large bag of Columbia’s biggest export – the illicit white booger sugar that keeps supermodels upright in lieu of nutrition.
This prompted the sheriff’s department to bring in the K9 unit – who found two more bundles of South American nose candy hidden inside of an Xbox 360. Valenzuela was promptly arrested, and charged with “manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance” and placed on a $25,000 bail bond.
I highly suspect that’s voided his warranty – but it does prove that Xbox 360 keeps bringing the hits.
