Mern of sterl (5)

While a bunch of you have no doubt seen an earlier screening of the latest Superman flick, Man of Steel, the majority of us who are way too scared and cold to venture outside will most likely only be seeing it tomorrow or this weekend. And then we’ll be wanting some merchandise afterwards, i reckon. I’m busting out the credit card for this bit of merch specifically.

Hot Toys has crafted the last son of Krypton into a scale replica of actor Henry Cavill and his set of muscles that will now cause girlfriends to view their partners as lesser men.

It’s got the usual assortment of accessories, from extra hands for extra punching action, through to a Superman shield stand and a special pre-order bonus in the form of a Kryptonian command key at 1:1 scale.

Doesn’t look half bad. If you haven’t seen the film yet, here’s our review on it. Or you can read my review below that is based solely on the trailers:

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
