Fallout 4 explains Intelligence

When I’m busy building up my wastelander in an Fallout game, I usually want them to be able to go places that I really shouldn’t be going to. This usually means I need some technical know-how to get around decrepit but functioning security system, which involves being a little less dense than the trunk of a tree. That’s where Intelligence comes into play, and it’s going to carry a lot of weight in Fallout 4.

Aside from allowing you to hack security terminals and mess with automated robots in creative way, the “I” in S.P.E.C.I.A.L will also allow you to tinker with Fallout 4’s newest feature – weapon crafting. Take a weapon to your crafting bench and you’ll be able to swap out parts, enhance its damage and just generally make a Laser Pistol more badass than it has even been. All if you have the smarts to pull it off.

Intelligence can also come in handy in dire situations too (provided you have the right perks). Converting all of those brain points into more brawn can get you out of a fight that you would otherwise lose, although even Bethesda can’t guarantee that just putting on glasses will turn your wastelander into the next cover model for Capital Wasteland Yearly.

There’s just two more S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes to get through, and I’ve liked how Bethesda have made their otherwise slightly vague levelling system so clear for Fallout 4. When Agility and Luck both wrap up, it’ll be time to head out from Vault 111 soon – to see if you’ve been paying any attention at all.

If you sort of vagualy like role playing games, with big scope and effort put into the characters you meet, then Fallout 3 and New vegas as my guides, fallout 4 will be AWESOME.

BUT, not for the faint of heart at times. Sometimes, you choose between two evils

See a love big open world role playing games that’s why it peeked my interest so much. I love exploring a big open world and finding like rare weapons, armors and secrets so should be fun. Witcher 3 was probably my favorite game of all time definitely top 5.

          Awesome!

Actually, it might just slip out my top 5 list because is TOO big, same with Dragon Age Inquisition.

Yeah Dragon Age was lot of fun as well, actually getting the expansions soon they seem like fun.

Funny thing I must admit we always complain how a game is too small and so on but sometimes too much of a good thing can be bad. Like I recently experienced with Mad Max started of well but I think the game would have been a LOT better if it was smaller too many repetitive side things to do kind of spoiled the game rather make a smaller more interesting dynamic world.

Tried Deus Ex, couldn’t get into it really didn’t enjoy the game for some reason…

And I would play DA:O, number 1, if you have not. It is fun and lengthwise is ok, good main plot, some interesting subplots.

Seriously, on the Deus Ex? But, then again, I am a sci-fi fan, so sort of liked the plot elements just because it is my thing.

I really, really enjoyed the game, the characters and so on. At one point, if you are not good or quick enough one of the character may die and that causes real pain. You MUST save that character, at all costs, because they feel somehow more real than most other games. This from a few people I know, not just me.

It felt too stealthy for me and I really don’t enjoy stealth games. Hence why never played MSG. I was never a fan of sci-fi games to be honest and then I played Mass Effect which absolutely changed everything for me:) It actually turned me into a sci-fi fan:)

I think I felt like you with Deus Ex when I played Mass Effect trying to save all my team mates and so on..

Me too, with Mass Effect. Going to replace next month, on Xbox One. Cannot wait, actually!

in ME 2 especially you must save them all, even the annoying ones. And how good is a game that you want to save the annoying ones, as they have some values. Zaaid, not so much, but I still saved him.

I always try and boost intelligence and charisma skills. They tend to get you out of that tight spot…

Sitting here and wanting to click this pre-order button. I have the eBucks… Hmmmm

I usually do the same. Either talk or hack my way out of a situation where my head would otherwise be blown clean off.
