????? (Hirosaki Castle and cherry blossoms)

Humble Bundle is all sorts of trouble. Loads of games for discounted prices? Absurd! My backlog is big enough thank you very much!

Still, you may have a few dollars lying around, or an empty gaming library that needs filling. Say hello to this week’s Humble Weekly Bundle: Japan Edition. Under normal circumstances, these games would cost $67 in total. Thanks to Humble Bundle, you can help yourself to a handful of them for as little as $1

HBJ

Check out the official blurb from the site:

Here is a bundle of games from Japan and a promise that we will keep weeaboo tendencies to a minimum. With a lineup like this, it becomes difficult to be obsessed with anything else. Pay what you want for Unholy Heights, One Way Heroics and GIGANTIC ARMY DRM-free. Pay $6 or more to also get Ys Origin,Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae and PixelJunk Shooter. If you pay $10 or more, you’ll get everything plus Astebreed.

Don’t forget that you can choose to donate some of your contribution to charity. Proceeds from this sale will go to the Electronic Frontier Foundation as well as Child’s Play. If you happened to miss the Square Enix bundle last week, you can still pick it up right here for $29.99.

Roflol, y’s games dont come out that often, they’ve been in Japan for a very long time. It’s only recently found its way to Steam

Okay rephrase …. I own about 300 odd games … most on steam. I have finished about 90 of them thanks to a combination of MMO’s/Survival Sims and lack of time. Also I keep replaying Mass Effect when I actually do have time to play games …. silly me.

Why? Are you scared they might come to your house and walk on your tatami mats with their shoes on?

Yes, but is Astebreed worth the R100,00?

Technically R40 as Y’s is R60 but let us not argue semantics.

True, but if you really want to go there then it’s R106,45 total, R63,87 for Y’s and R42,58 for Astebreed.

True but I can take it one step further. Since Y’s is technically 1 of 3 games at that price point and adding that we need to also remove the $1 for the other games Y’s is actually $5/3 X whatever the forex value is … oh hell it is way to early and screw this … im getting coffee.

Humble Bundle seems like a way to sell games no ones knows/cares about. Add one or two good games to the mix and Presto!
