World’s best StarCraft 2 players head into MLG semis

The Major League Gaming Tournament of Champions is heading into its semis tonight. The best of the world’s best will battle it out for a spot in the finals and a shot at winning that $5, 000 cash prize the winner gets to take home.

This invitational tournament pits the year’s StarCraft 2 champions against each other, all of whom we’re winners of tournaments, here’s a reminder of who these superior beings are:

  • DongRaeGu (Spring Arena 1, Spring Championship)
  • Flash (KeSPA Invitational at Spring Championship)
  • Leenock (Summer Championship)
  • Life (Fall Championship)
  • MarineKing (Winter Arena, Winter Championship)
  • Soo (MvP Invitational)
  • Parting (Battle.net World Championship)
  • Rain (2012 OSL Finals)

The tournament started on 3 December and will go on till 20 December, tonight we’ll see Rain face-off against Flash. The best of five matches will be streamed live from www.majorleaguegaming.com, all broadcasts start at 6pm ET (01:00 the following day SAST) with rebroadcasts starting immediately after. The games can also be watched afterward on this page.
