I’ve got travel on the brain today, so in this week’s Midweek Mouth-off debate we want to know what exotic real life locations in movies you’d love to – or already have managed to – visit?

Did The Karate Kid reboot make you want to trek off to China? The Beach spark dreams of Thailand? Crave something more glamorous, like the Czech Republic doubling as Montenegro in Casino Royale? What about hitting Venice and Petra after Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? Or did Rio spark a lust for tropical South American adventures? Let us know where you’d love to go, inspired by the movies

I’ll say this: Hostel made me not want to go to Balkan countries with three-syllable names. And Open Water has maintained my conviction to not jump into the ocean.

I always wanted to watch the Sound and Light Show in front of the Sphinx after seeing it in The Spy Who Loved Me, and got to do that in 2009. And it was amazing.

Hopefully I can scratch my other James Bond travel itch, by visiting the island from The Man With the Golden Gun when I hit Thailand next year.
