Midweek Mouth-off: Who's your movie crush?

46 second read

Seeing as yesterday was Valentine’s Day, and we love all thing movie related, the topic of today’s Midweek Mouth-off is: Who is your big movie crush?

It can be an actor or actress, or even a fictional character up there on the silver screen. Who sets your heart aflutter? Who can’t you look away from when they’re in frame? Who would you love to be with? Or – taking into account love of a more admiring kind – who would you love to be?

  • I wanna be Brad Pitt. He just seems to rule Hollywood. And neither are crushes, but I never mind seeing Steve Buscemi or Christopher Walken on screen. Fro women I’d have to stoop to the current trend and say Emma Watson. But I also think Catherine Keener is smoking hot and keeping with the cougar trend, Anna Gunn is another timeless beauty.

  • From the guys side I’d have to say Will Smith is my favourite actor and from the ladies you can’t go past Charlize Theron…

As you could quite quickly figure out Hancock was a hugely enjoyable film for me

  • The character that Jonathan Rhys Meyers played in Gormenghast, I think he was my first “character” crush. As for actors, you can’t go wrong with Jake Gyllenhaal or Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Or Ryan Reynolds.

  • Ha, just remembered. My sister had a HUGE crush on the eighties cartoon version of Flash Gordon. All I can remember is that he had, for some strange reason, green eyebrows.

  • Noelle Adams

Gosh, I’m sure I’m missing quite a few, but off the top of my head Indiana Jones remains a major character crush.

Actress-wise there’s Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Kirsten Dunst, Christina Ricci, Emma Stone, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett.

In terms of actors, Michael Fassbender, James McEvoy, Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Jake Gyllenhaal and Joe Manganiello.

  • Ilden Webber

    Zooey Deschanel. That is all.

  • Ellen Ripley. From the first Alien. Not the second, though. A bit too butch in that one  for some or other reason

    • Admit it. It’s the white panties small enough to be an eye-patch, isn’t it?

      • The whole package. She’s seriously hot in that film. But yeah. Dem panties!
