Eurogamer : 360 vs. PS3 Face-Off: Round Six

Eurogamer runs a very in depth article every couple of months comparing the same games on the 360 vs the PS3 in game play and graphical ability.

For the previous 5 rounds the 360 has won hands down, now a year into the PS3’s life cycle how are things looking?

Call of Duty 4 – Tie
NBA Live 08 – Xbox 360
Need for Speed ProStreet – Xbox 360
Stuntman Ignition – Xbox 360
WWE Smackdown vs Raw – Xbox 360
The Simpsons – Tie
Conan – Tie
Assassin’s Creed – Xbox 360

So let’s tally that up….

Tie = 3
PS3 = 0
Xbox 360 = 5

Without a doubt the 360 is still the console of choice for cross platform games, however you do need to remember that this comparison completely and utterly ignores exclusives on either side….

    Well at least the most important one , COD4 is a tie , but have to admit this is bad for the ps3. Burnout paradise seems like its the same on both from what the dev is saying, so lets hope.

    Half of those titles are from EA games, which are bad 360 ports

    There’s a couple of OB previews up and they’re all a lot more complimentary than 1UP – Basically the game has issues, but they’re not show stoppers, it’s still a great game worth picking up if you don’t have access to it on PC or 360.
