Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay was one of the shining lights on the original Xbox and as such there has been a lot of pressure placed on Dark Athena to live up to it’s predecessor.
Unfortunately as is often the case in sequels Dark Athena hasn’t managed to eclipse Butcher Bay, which is more of a compliment for Butcher Bay than a knock on Dark Athena.
We will have our review up shortly but one important thing to remember is that the entire of Butcher Bay is included with Dark Athena which makes this an absolute must have for anyone who hasn’t played Butcher Bay.
