Borderlands Online! A free-to-play Borderlands game that saw the shoot and loot formula spun off into a free-to-play online shooter. It may have been exclusive to that part of Asia, but I liked the sound of it. But apparently, China didn’t, which is why the game and the studio behind it is shutting down for good.

Halo 5 had a two-pronged approach to its storytelling, focusing either on the faceless hero or the next generation of super-soldiers led by Spartan Locke. The reason for their inclusion boiled down to gameplay mechanics, as Halo 5’s big hook was co-operative action spread across two to four players at any given time. Not a bad idea, but maybe not the best idea for a core Halo game. And certainly something you'll see much less of in Halo 6.
