Too Human

A lot has been mentioned about the length of time it has taken to get Too Human out of development and onto the shelves (4 years).

Well according to Denis Dyack it’s all Epic’s fault and he says that Silicon Knights are still pushing ahead with their court case against Epic.

He claims Epic didn’t deliver the dev kits on time as promised and dedicated to many of their resources to the hugely successful Gears of War.

Epic on the other hand say they had the SDK’s out on time and have counter claimed that Silicon Knights broke the licensing agreement by using the Engine on a Sega game.

From my side I can see why Epic would pour their resources into Gears and in hindsight it has worked perfectly for them. This all seems like a way to cover Denis’s ass in my opinion.

He most probably has a case but the facts are so blurred that I doubt anything meaningful will come out of it.

Yeah, all third party UE3 games have been terrible. BioShock was abysmal.
