In development at Piranha Bytes and set for release on both consoles and PC, Risen 2: Dark Waters is set several years after the events of Risen and by the looks of these new screens, is getting us excited to return to this magical world. Hit the jump for more info and the screenshots.
So far we don’t have much on the sequel, but publishers Deep Silver, who’s also publishing the open-ended, first person, zombie survival game Dead Island, did give out some info of the game.
The story goes that Risen’s unnamed protagonist, is now part of the Inquisition and after raging titans have devastated the world and pushed humanity to the brink of existence, he is sent to find a solution for the uproar.
No release date has been given for the game, but we do expect to see the game coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
