Super League Superman

When it comes to raw power, I’ve always believed that DC has had a massive edge over Marvel’s Avengers when it comes to the superpower arms race. Their heaviest hitter, a green steroid rage machine has already been knocked out cold by the man of steel, while Superman has proven himself capable of not only beating Thor in combat but has actually been worthy enough to wield his hammer Mjolnir.

Captain America? He’d be dismantled by Batman within seconds. And I haven’t even mentioned characters like Wonder Woman or Martian Manhunter yet, warriors who are almost in the same power category as the last son of Krypton. They’re not just a Justice League. They’re a Super League. And that’s the idea behind the upcoming April crossover between Superman, Batman/Superman, Superman/Wonder Woman and Action Comics.

Eight issues and several of Earth’s true mightiest mortals banding together to stop the unstoppable. Here’s a look at the covers and art of Super League from DC:

“Super League” continues this month as Kal-El’s bid to strengthen his forces brings him, Batman and Wonder Woman into China and into conflict with the might of that nation’s greatest heroes: the Great 10!

Superman/Wonder Woman #29

Super League (7)

It’s the penultimate chapter of “Super League”! When all the Supermen have fallen, it’s Supergirl to the rescue!

Superman #52

Super League (8)

Written by Peter J. Tomasi, art and cover by Mikel Janin.

The “Super League” epic concludes in one explosive fight as the new master villain uses Superman’s own solar superflare power against everyone.

Super League kicks off on April 6, and runs through until May 25. Which is right around when the Rebirth event kicks off. Convenient.

Disney owns Marvel, Marvel is for the kids if Disney has their way. Also Marvel doesn’t have Batman. Just overrated Deadpool
