Swordfights, the staple diet of the action movie. Whether you’re fending off Persian soldiers or battling for a mystical prize between immortals in present day New York, nothing beats seeing a rivalry settled than with some real steel on steel action. Video editor Clara Darko decided to not only gather some of the greatest sword battles in cinematic history, but score them as well to an energizing beat that makes for some fantastic and easily repeatable viewing.   1. I always love the dueling with rapiers and smallswords, so musketeers, Princess bride and Zorro would probably be my favorite sword fights but not necessarily my favorite movies of that bunch.

    (please note that my knowledge of arms is rudimentary at best so if the swords I have named are not in fact the swords used in the movies that I mentioned please forgive me. What I mean is the swords with the pointy ends used for poking as opposed to hacking and slashing)
