$99 HD-DVD Player with 3 free HD DVD's

I have made no secret of the fact that I am sitting on the fence in regard to the HD DVD / Blu-Ray war. I have no intention of getting either until a clear winner has been announced. So far Blu-Ray seems to have had the advantage and was looking like it was cruising to a win.

However the HD-DVD alliance has no intention of taking that lying down, someone over at DVDDossier.com has received an invitation to the latest Home Expo in the States and on the invitation Toshiba has announced it’s latest special.

For 1 week only you can pick up a HD-A2 DVD player for $99 and they will also throw in 3 HD DVD’s…

Which pretty much means you get a brand spanking new HD DVD player for $30 (R210)… Seriously if they offered a deal like that here I don’t think anyone could ignore it…

Lets hope Sony and the Blu-Ray alliance hit back with an equally impressive special. I might actually be able to afford both at those prices.
