Sweet Sally! Is it true? Is it real? Is the worlds greatest flute player, lover and news reader finally returning? Yes, yes and yes! Word has just come in, from Ron Burgundy himself, that he will indeed be returning for a proper Anchorman sequel.

The greatest newsman in all of Whales Vagina, or San Diego as the rest of the world calls it, recently stopped by on the Conan O’Brian talk show for an impromptu display of his musical skills, as well as to talk about the upcoming film.

Many LOUD NOISES of delight were heard afterwards.

Ferrell has begun writing a script with director Andy McKay, but other details are currently under wraps. What is known however, is that Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd will answer the call for the Channel 4 news team to resurface, with David “Whammy!” Koechner being an uncertain at this point.

Shooting is scheduled to commence in February next year, so in the meantime, we suggest wearing sex panther cologne and re-watching the original film, alongside its Pseudo-sequel, Wake up Ron Burgundy, which was made from all the mountains of deleted footage that never made it into the original.

I’m personally not that big a fan of Talladega nights. Wasn’t anywhere near as funny as Anchorman for me.

I think I’m one of the only people who didn’t enjoy this movie… not interested in a sequel
