BATMAN V SUPERMAN gets an official story synopsis and detailed specs for the Batmobile

Batman V Superman: Dolls of Juggle is a film which carries its story right there in the title. It is after all, Batman finally having a showdown with the Metropolis Messiah, Superman. But what’s the film really about then? It can’t be more than a slugfest, right? Well here’s the official synopsis then:

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.   

Interesting. After Man of Steel, I’d expect Superman to be a hated figure, due to his fight with General Zod leveling Metropolis and turning the CBD into a massive sinkhole. But it’s the third act villain that’s waiting in the shadows for the two to tackle, with rumours pointing to this danger being linked back to Man of Steel.

The thing is, we all know who the real star of the film is. It’s the Batmobile baby! Lean, mean and ready to kick some ass, the current incarnation of that iconic vehicle ain’t taking no prisoners. Here’s the current spec-list for the car, which I’d love to see do a few laps on the Top Gear track:

Single-handedly designed and fabricated in near complete seclusion by The Batman, this infamous pursuit and capture vehicle has earned its reputation as the apex predator on the mean streets of Gotham City. Over powered with an unmatched hybrid of prototype military and civilian performance technologies, this top machine has been estimated to reach speeds of up to 205 MPH. The Batmobile’s imposing defense capabilities, supported by stolen Wayne Industries technologies, have been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems.
