Be afraid to fly in this new trailer and poster for World War Z

Most of the time, when a movie gets held back for reshoots, that’s because the final product may not be up to snuff. Or more Channing Tatum is required. Still, the upcoming World War Z may just be benefiting from that delay which saw it held back from a late release last year.

It’s a zombie epidemic on a global scale and with a Hollywood budget to back it up, and that’s something that you can see in the new trailer and poster for the film. Mhhhhmmm, traaaaaaailers…

Based on the Max Brook novel, World War Z finds Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), travelling around the world trying to understand and cure the zombie infection that has snowballed out of control. With the population fighting a losing battle against an enemy that keeps on growing, Lane needs to figure out how to cure or contain the virus, before his family falls victim to it.

And it’s looking pretty decent so far. The zombie crowd moments are pure overkill, yet somehow, it actually looks kind of cool. And my fear of flying has just been increased to ludicrous levels by that hint of an outbreak on an aircraft. The film is out in June, and also stars Mireille Enos, David Morse, James Badge Dale and Elyes Gabel.

No DarthofZA is not keen for this movie in the book? Sounds like a stupid book to me…

Still not keen for this. I don’t know what it is about this movie, but since the first trailer, something just looks off for me.

Looks good to me. Even if it’s all style, it appears to have a lot of that…
