Civil War (1)

Civil War! Good god y’all! What is it good for? Absolutely dazzling displays of Stark technology going up against the might of the Super Soldier serum! Okay, I may have butchered those lyrics slightly, but you get the idea.

We’ve known for a while now that Captain America: Civil War would see Steve Rogers oppose Tony Stark in an ideological war over whether or not super-humans should be registered weapons of the government.

Rogers believes in freedom, Stark believes in responsibility and accountability. And that’s where the two butt heads eventually, with both heroes setting up opposing teams on the registration divide. So who’s fighting for who? SPOILERS AHEAD TURN BACK YO!

YouTuber MrSundayMovies via ComicBookMovie uncovered the following concept art, which reveals the Anti and Pro-registration teams. On the pro-registration side of Stark, you’ve got:

Civil War (2)

  • Iron Man
  • Black Widow
  • Black Panther
  • War Machine
  • Vision

Meanwhile, opposing the registration of super-humans will be:

Civil War (3)

  • Captain America
  • Hawkeye
  • Ant-Man
  • Falcon
  • The Winter Soldier
  • Sharon Carter

That’s a nice balance there, between powers and characters. Sharon Carter is of course a relative of Peggy Carter, while Iron Man will be rocking what appears to be his Bleeding Edge armour from the comics. And to cap it all off, here’s a quick look at the two teams going at it, which may or may not include Black Widow and Winter Soldier trying to create the most epic brofist of all time:

Civil War (4)

The only thing missing from this reveal? One webcrawler, who may have a hard choice to make in the upcoming war.

Captain America: Civil War is out next year May.

I would think with Vision on the side of the Pro-registration the anti are going to get messed up.

Iron Man’s definitely got the upper hand based on the team lineups. But depending on who Scarlet Witch could be the trump card, if Cap has her as his super sub.
