Some times you need a hero with a big hammer or shiny shield that can make a lot of noise. Other times discretion is the better option, as some heroes are better suited for working in the shadows than they are in the light. That’s when you call upon agents like Natasha Romanoff, AKA the Black Widow. One of the most lethal ladies alive, the Black Widow is a charming yet fatal kicker of asses. And she’ll be putting said skills to good use when she joins the side of Tony Stark to bring in renegade heroes in the brewing Civil War.

As one of the most talented spies to ever survive the Red Room run by Madame B, Natasha Romanoff is a highly skilled operative who is well versed in various forms of espionage. Able to infiltrate any location, the KGB and SHIELD has long considered her to be one of the most dangerous people alive on the planet.

Romanoff’s skill-set is immense, having mastered the spy arts to become a stealthy operative with years of experience under her belt. In combat, Romanoff uses various forms of Karate, Judo, Aikido, Savate, boxing and wrestling to dominate her opponents, as seen when she tangled with the likes of skilled mercenaries, Chitauri soldiers, Ultron drones and even besting Hawkeye in single combat.

Romanoff is agile, incorporating her natural acrobatic skills into her fighting style and wreaking havoc on the battlefield while her sharpshooting skills almost landed a killshot on the Winter Soldier who was saved only be the fact that he was wearing protective goggles. Romanoff is far more deadly as an assassin however, having used her natural charm to seduce various targets and carry out numerous hits for the KGB and SHIELD.

As an interrogator, Romanoff is without peer. While it may seem like she is the one being questioned into revealing secrets, the Black Widow is actually learning all manner of information from her targets who believe that they have the upper hand.

Equipment

Black-WIDOW-(4)

The Black Widow favours small, easily concealable weapons in battle. While her preference for Glock and Walther PPK sidearms has resulted in several battlefield advantages, Romanoff also prefers relying on cutting edge technology that can be used to stun foes. These Black Widow gadgets include wrist-mounted bracelets that can deliver electrical stun charges to targets, batons that carry a powerful current through them and small taser-disks that can easily incapacitate enemies.

Having survived the Ultron offensive, Romanoff is now a first-generation member of a second-generation team of Avengers, ready to face any world-level threats with a cool head and a dizzying arsenal of skills and weapons.

She has a ‘big’ face. While pretty, it is big.

Take the one scene with ol’ Bruce Banner, I mean, her face is bigger than his

That’s not all that’s bigger than his. 😉

Also, it’s not the size I think. It’s got an odd shape to me. The nose and cheeks don’t quite fit. But that’s probably just me.

Has anyone told Spider-Man he’s on the same side as a Black Widow? Does he think it’ll work out well for him?

They list a wide variety of her skills and assets, but at no point do they they include “ass looks amazing in leather/spandex/anything tight”? Shame on them.

Darryn doesn’t know what an ass looks like. He’s never seen one in real life.
