Channing Tatum makes us feel old with the trailer for 10 YEARS

Following the success of American Reunion earlier this year, it seems like the school reunion sub-genre is getting another installment with 10 Years, starring Channing Tatum and Rosario Dawson. Tatum seems to have been a busy boy this year and after leaving girls breathless in Magic Mike, he seems to be aiming for the heart strings next.

A more dramatic take on reunions than the last installment of the American Pie franchise, it still seems to cover the same ground, but with far less fart jokes. The film also stars, as the trailer boasts, Chris Pratt, Justin Long, Ron Livingston, Kate Mara, Ari Gaynor, Oscar Isaac and Aubrey Plaza which is a great lineup and I have to admit, tickles my fancy a bit.

According to the plot summary from Comingsoon.net, there will be a little bit of everything you are expecting in this film…except maybe Stifler, unfortunately. The love triangle involving Channing Tatum’s character Jake, his girlfriend and ex-flame will definitely be the main drawing card for 10 Years, but we can also expect to see people competing for the attention of a popular girl, socially awkward musicians and a high school bully-turned-family man that might not have outgrown his bad habits quite yet.

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but if 10 Years is anything like my school reunion than we are in for 2 hours of casual pleasantries, nostalgia and quite a few people that I have actively been trying to avoid for the better part of a decade.

Curious to know who is still popular after all these years, and if that girl is still so bitchy? Check out the trailer:

I don’t know about you, but that trailer felt like it took ten years! (See what I did there?)
