Hey, look! It’s the comic book team-up you least expected! Hulk, in his not so angry form, teaming up with that lady from Iron Man 3 whose invention turned everybody into hotheads, trying to get to the bottom of some nefarious terrorist plot. It’s just like The Avengers, but only with more courtroom drama and sexual tension and less punching and people dressed in tight clothes. Also, it’s actually nothing like The Avengers.
What it is though, is just the latest in a seemingly sudden flood of moody thrillers with great casts coming out of Britain at the moment.
In this international thriller, two ex-lovers, Martin (Eric Bana of “Hanna”) and Claudia (Golden Globe Award nominee Rebecca Hall), find their loyalties tested and their lives at risk when they are joined together on the defense team in a terrorism trial.
Closed Circuit hits UK cinemas on August 28, 2013 and sees further international release in November, 2013.
