Welcome to The Extras! A daily dose of all the smaller movie related news, clips and just plain cool stuff that you might have missed!

If you’ve ever played the Portal video games, then chances are that you’ve wondered what it was like to own one of those nifty teleportation guns. (Also, what that gosh darn cake tastes like.) Well we start off today with this brilliant new fan film titled Terminal Velocity, which answers exactly that question.

Henry Hill, the man who inspired Martin Scorsese’s classic gangster flick, Goodfellas, has passed away at the age of 69.

The Woman in Black is getting a sequel. Although press NDA’s prevent me from posting a full review of the movie up for another few weeks, I can say that barring a few missteps I really liked the first film.

There’s a new International trailer out for Django Unchained. It features most of the same things we’ve seen before with a couple of new scenes thrown in, including a first look at Samuel L. Jackson’s slave. It also features that most timeless of recreational activities down in the South: Two black men fighting.

A new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man has been spotted on a bus-stop by Coming Soon. How lucky for them. Generally, I just spot the various body fluids of homeless people at bus stops.

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi is suing the Hong Kong tabloid who accused her of prostituting herself to several high profile politicians. If the legal action doesn’t go to plan, she will then take a green flexible swords to their unmentionables.

Will Ferrel and Zack Galiafinakis get all up in each other’s grill yo! in this new poster for The Campaign. (I have no idea why I suddenly went all hip hop, but it seemed appropriate at the time.)

There’s certainly a lot about Prometheus’ story that we don’t know yet. But guess what? There are some stuff that you don’t even know that you don’t know. You know? So to help alleviate your lack of knowledge head over to i09 where they look at 10 Things You Didn’t Know About the Making of Prometheus

The Descent and Centurion director Neil Marshall recently directed the Season Two penultimate episode of hit HBO show Game of Thrones, which featured tense battles, crazy family drama, rousing speeches and, oh yeah, one completely nude and completely gratuitous naked girl. But that’s sort of become the expectations from the Powers That Be as Marshall explains:

“The weirdest part [of directing Game of Thrones] was when you have one of the exec producers leaning over your shoulder, going, ‘You can go full frontal, you know. This is television, you can do whatever you want! And do it! I urge you to do it!’ So I was like, ‘Okay, well, you’re the boss.’”

This particular exec took me to one side and said, ‘Look, I represent the pervert side of the audience, okay? Everybody else is the serious drama side, [but] I represent the perv side of the audience, and I’m saying I want full frontal nudity in this scene.’ So you go ahead and do it.”

Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive first look at Bella and Edward’s super shy “newborn baby”, Renesmee, from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Down – Part 2. If you’re wondering why she’s fully grown, it’s because of her special vampiric powers. Her other power is apparently to also have a super-silly name.

Slashfilm is telling everybody about the 45 Things They Learned on the Set of Len Wiseman’s Total Recall. Apparently, the one thing they didn’t learn was how to stop asking questions. 45? Jeez, Slashfilm, how long were you there?

I love behind the scenes stuff, especially since it often gives you a glimpse behind the curtain that really throws certain actors or scenes in a new light. I would give you examples of what I mean, but it appears that this recent cold front has given me frostbite of the brain. Luckily for me though, BuzzFeed is talking about the same thing as they look at 20 Set Photos That Will Change How You See These Films.

Thanks to the 2012 Licencing Expo happening in Obamaland at the moment, we get our first look at a Iron Man 3 teaser promo poster.

While we’re not all that enamoured with Prometheus around here, there are lots of people that really love it. And I’m not saying that their opinion is wrong*, just different. So if you’re on my side, but would like to see why these people are so in love then look no further than Joanna Robinson’s 34 Spoilerific Reasons Why She Loved Prometheus.

Ah, Redshirts, you nameless Star Trek cannon fodder. Despite historical evidence to the contrary, it seems that somebody actually does care about you!

*I lied. I’m totally saying they’re wrong.
