The first clip and these new TV spots for Ghostbusters truly scare me

Look, at this point in time, when it comes to Paul Feig’s upcoming all-female reboot of Ghostbusters, you probably fall into one of two camps: You already hate the movie and think it’s responsible for eroding our cultural stability, global warming, Brexit and cold toilet seats in winter or something; or you prefer to adopt a “wait and see” approach of actually watching the movie before you declare it the Antichrist. I choose door no. 2.

That being said, the film’s trailers have been a bit underwhelming, and not exactly inspiring oodles of confidence. But that could just be put down to a doofus marketing team cutting together a poor trailer. The best would be for us to take a look at an unedited clip from the film… and now we can, as the first clip was just released yesterday on the movie’s official Twitter account.

Er… that looks… fine, I guess? Yeah, fine I think is the word I’m looking for. Maybe these two new TV spots that were also released will bump it up a notch?

[Removed] [Edit: Video has been taken down, sorry]

Is that a female Slimer? What? Is that like, Mrs. Slimer?! Oh boy, wait until the dudebro’s on the Interwebs get a load of that! Also, that pretty much just proves Rule 34, right?

Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams and Chris Hemsworth. It is scheduled for release internationally on July 15. Locally, it will start haunting cinemas two weeks later on July 29.

I just wish they’d stop with the reboots, or if they’re gonna do one do it as well as Star Trek or Mad Max

She was funny in The Heat, Tammy and Spy but like Jim Carrey every movie she does it’s almost like it’s the same character if that makes sense?

It makes perfect sense. Angry Fat chick that has to learn to do something (be nicecope with loss, etc) and goes from an annoying , screaming, moaning over the top personality to a calmer, more loveable one…blah blah no thanks

I am looking forward to seeing Melisa McCarthy doing her thing. That’s about it.
