You don’t often see Pixar making a sequel (INCREDIBLES 2! C’MON DAMMIT!), but when they do, it’s usually for their top tier films. Toy Story has seen two sequels so far, while Cars got a number two that smelt like that specific metaphor as well. Can Pixar rebound with a prequel then?
Monsters University takes viewers back to before Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan were the top ranked scarers at their company, to the days when they spent more time playing Monster Beer Analogue Pong, skipping classes and getting up to all kinds of shenanigans.
Presumably while on double secret probation. MONSTER HOOOOOOUSE! Billy Crystal and John Goodman return to their signature roles, joined this time by Helen Mirren as Dean Hardscrabble. Monsters University is out in June.
