And so begins the road to E3. We’re as prepared as we’ll ever be. We’ve got a seedy motel room booked for the Pre-E3 party, we’ve posted an ad on CraigsList and we’re hoping that this time the party won’t be gate-crashed by horny Furries. For once.

In Other News: Mortal Kombat is almost upon us, Ryse up DLC, The Forest is early, EA may have to fork out some varsity cash and Luigi takes Mario Kart too seriously.

Here’s the news that we didn’t post today, because we were too busy putting pizzas on top of bigger pizzas.

Well, I just watched Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown – Thailand, last night. He ended up going to a ladyboy show lol. Had flashbacks when I saw the header.

I love it, I love the cuisine, love the different cultures, love seeing places where 16oz of meat is for a family, and not the entree to a single meal.

Well, if you’re not familiar with Bourdain, he can be an arrogant dick like Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear…but holy hell some of the places he’s gone, and some of the meals he’s been treated to…omg. What I like though, is for the most part, he intentionally avoids tourist stuff, and goes to places where the locals go. Which is fascinating.

Watch the Lyon France episode, and rage with envy…those meals he had with Paul Bocuse are worth more than my life.

Glad to hear someone feels the same as I do about Jeremy Clarkson.
Will definitely check it out. Being someone who is about as well traveled as the ants who live in my kitchen I should find it fascinating.

            June 2, 2014 at 16:50

Clarkson’s a piece of shit, when he forced Tiff Needel (Former LeMans racer for Lister…owns his Lister Storm V12 that he raced in Lemans) out of Top Gear, my lifelong hatred for the man began.

I will say that Bourdain hasn’t said or done anything even remotely as controversial as what Clarkson’s done, though, he puts voice to some…rather unpopular opinions in certain places he goes to…like Israel and Palestine, and a few other hotspot places. Still, he manages to keep it focused on the food, even if on occasion he’ll bring up a conversation stopper kind of question.

            Agreed.

Well, will check it out. Haven’t watched any show in that line in a very long time. I’m always up for some enlightening and fascinating shows.
