Right now, Zoe, Geoff and Matty are getting ready to jet to Germany. Sunshine! Beer! Gamescom! More beer! Gamescom is a wonderful convention, and I’m downright jealous that I can’t go with them. Hell, it’s the first big event that I ever attended, as Gavin threw a very wet behind the ears and less cynical version of myself into the deep end of that show, three years ago. And if you can’t make E3, Gamescom is quite possibly a far better alternative.

In Other News: Put a Godus in your pocket, Madden is back, Forza Horizon 2 adds some expensive cars to the garage, the Sims are still weird and Mike Tyson has a mystery to solve. Lol. That R 5999.00 PS4 pricepoint has me interested. What games are worth buying with it atm? I already have TLOU on PS3 but nothing else seems to have peaked my interest yet since it was revealed that UFC isn’t as great as I was hoping.
I’m also not impressed that there isn’t a Forza equivalent available yet (as usual with PS)

Depends what you like, I really enjoyed Second Son… It was given good reviews but not great because it was much the same as the first two… For me that was perfect and all the different powers was awesome!!!
Killzone is a beautiful game, with not that bad game play as well, never played the multiplayer…
And then the multi plats on the PS4 is all great, played Ass Creed 4, Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs, Fifa 14…. Bought Ground Zeroes on Thursday played 30 minutes and it looks good and plays good!!!
        Hope this helps…..

Infamous is really good. Also Tomb Raider remastered if you haven’t played it yet. Oh and Wolfenstein

Rogue Legacy is frustratingly fun for R150. All I played this weekend. I recommend it, but only if you liked difficult games. Youtube the remix boss fights for instance.

Sounds like Spelunky. I was rasslin with my controller for half a day again. Game is irritatingly difficult and addictive.

One word guys – RESOGUN – OMFW this game is amazeballs!
I started playing The Swapper last night as well (PC) and I can also highly recommend it. Stunningly simple yet complex game esp for sci-fi fans.

Thx. Tomb Raider on PC already and I’ve played every Wolfie game on PC and will keep doing so. Some things are designed for k/m combo ;-p

I picked up Killzone (2nd hand = half the price=good), UFC and LEGO Hobbit for now. Waiting for the new FIFA and the others I have on PC already.
I’ll wait to pick up a 2nd hand copy of Second Son as I have the first 2 already and am not in a rush. BTW, games are freaking expensive on console now!

No more food ION’s please. I’ve been killing myself/banting/dieting for 3 months now and haven’t had any beer, bread, potatoes or rice in all that time. I thank all the deities that Jameson is allowed.
