Picked up the Humble Bundle deal. Then got extra games FOR FREE. Because I was above average to get the second Batman in the first place. I love these people. I really do. More free games? Why.. don’t mind if I do, sir. Don’t mind if I do.
My Steam library will need a week of downloading to get them all operational! And even the puzzle game looks cute as. I’m so happy!

That was a little lukewarm. Maybe, it’s because I’m tired but I thought the All Access Launch was definitely underwhelming. I loved the new Infamous trailer though – definitely keen on that game, and the eye tracking stuff looks very interesting. Also, that little Uncharted sneak vid had me thinking. Any one else thinking that was Talbot ?
BUT yeah… Hideo Kojima… what a disappointment. I was really hoping for a new Zone of Enders game… and speaking of space… the rumour made me hope for Colony Wars, instead it was some partnership with NASA. Maybe, I’ll get excited as more details emerge.
PS: I love the little nod to GAF’s Antonio Banderas obsession by YOSP! hahaha That had me chuckling…
Anyway, I’m off have a plane to catch. See you all again on Monday.

Yeah it was a tad underwhelming, I was expecting more also. And I’m not tired, I was up at 1pm today (couldn’t sleep last night). I think the streams instability could’ve helped remove some of the luster. I mean, not necessarily resolution, but I was looking specifically at how ‘organic’ the city in Second Son was. I couldn’t really tell from the resolution.
I’m with you on the new Zone of the Enders, I was thinking the exact same thing myself. Oh well. Maybe someday he’ll get his head out of his ass and realize people want a new installment to that goddamn game lol. No idea where the partnership with NASA is going, so we’ll have to see about that one. Maybe we’ll be able to control the Mars Rover via PS4 lol.
The infamous trailer was good, from what I got to see of it in high res, but as I said, was hoping the stream would be a tad more stable, so I could check out more of the environment. That Neon power looks badass though. I like how that’s been realized in the game.

I think what killed it was the superfluous interviews and all the freaking ads (damnit Spike TV), but the guy who got the first PS4. You could feel that he was excited. Lucky bastard! I doubt he’s going to sleep now.
Also the Dorito Pope just annoyed me for some reason, or maybe it’s because they introduced him as a “journalist”. That’s like saying Top Billing hosts are “journos”. Ugh!

*chuckle* Well, the interviews made me think back to some of my very first PS experiences, Warhawk, Tomb Raider, FFVII etc… So, it at least had some nostalgia attached to it.
Not familiar with the Dorito Pope, but, at least he speaks for something real (Zing!). Even if hideously unhealthy, and filled with chemical flavors.

I really like the Killzone games, also. I think what killed it though was my expectation from Kojima. I really thought he was going to announce a ZoE title, or at least something substantial, and not just some partnership w/ NASA (Didn’t see that coming, at all). That having been said, a new Uncharted on this hardware should be something to behold.

I honestly couldn’t tell man, as I said in my brief coverage, the stream was so unstable it kept going from PS1-like resolution to HD. And unfortunately, I missed the vast majority of the detail of Destiny. The sad part is, I downloaded the Payday 2 DLC today at 6m/s. Ugh! So it definitely wasn’t my end lol.
From what I saw it looked kinda cool, definitely some vast open areas. I get kinda the same feel though (as Borderlands), and there’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with parallels to Borderlands. I’m still farming shit in 2 lol. I’ll need to go back and rewatch the trailers in the highest def possible just to pick up on the finer details.

Yeah I definitely got some Borderlands from that. I’ll need to see more about the game before I cast judgement. Too early to say whether it’ll be fun or not. But, at least it’s coming along nicely.
