I was ready for winter. I hauled out my slow cooker, bought a metric ton of stewing meat and prepared for whatever Joburg could offer. Instead, it has been cooking hot and I think I’m going to die. What happened to seasonal changes?

Don’t fuck around, that Bloodborne is going to be seriously good. When Ryanza finally has something good to say about a game, then you should know it’s going to be fucking good. Bloodborne is going to be fucking good. You better believe that.

Lazygamer.net once asked what type of games us gamers like and want or match up. RPG mostly mentioned by us gamers.
Bloodborne is an RPG. It will be good. Most gamers will love it. Well except Xbox fans.
Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 16:45
Just not my type and I mostly play RPG’s.
I see it as more sort of actiony though, with RPG elements. It seems to require, you know, actual skill at handling a controller. I have almost none and prefer games that allow me to play without having to learn skill like that. Sort of like Biowars BG1 + 2, Neverwinter and then games like Deus Ex: HR. I could play Deus Ex even though it required skill and timing, but just enough to be challenging to ME (ME as well, see what I did there?), i.e. most people would who excel at, say, Demon Souls, would find HR easy to play from that perspective. I do not.
Games must be easy for me to enjoy them now, limited time.

Dark Souls 1, one of the best games of last gen.
Dark Souls 2, oh what shit that was.
Dark Souls 1, hard but fair. Use your brain and it was easy. Dark Souls 2, oh just shit.
Bloodborne looked a bit easy in the video above. I wonder if is for people like you. But Bloodborne should be hard enough and fair.
First time I played The Witcher 2 I had to change it to easy mode and still I was dying. But I was having so much fun learning how to play. If it’s too easy then it becomes mindless.
Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 16:59
true, a line must be drawn, too easy and is mindless. Like ME3, hardest difficulty, my Adept just swept away all in front of me by using a power from, Hmm, the Asari in charge of Omega? Flare or something. Hit several people, weak guys, insta kill. Had to stop using that.
I do not want to struggle and learn a game like that. Maybe fifteen years ago. I struggle enough at my day job. Entertainment must come to me (Did Spathi or Spaffy or someone say that here last year sometime?).
Kudo’s to those that want the struggle, I will pick my battles very carefully.
Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 17:01
And Witcher 1 was waaaaay trickier with some of the combat, I thought. I sort of breezed through large parts of Witcher 2 on medium difficulty, which for Witcher 1 was a lot more difficult.
Ryanza
March 18, 2015 at 17:09
So The Witcher 1 was a lot more difficult than The Witcher 2 for you. Sounds like The Witcher 3 will be the game for you.
Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 22:32
Oh, it will be. For sure. But Witcher 1 had some balance issues as well, that 2 did not really suffer from

That sir is a very odd thing to do…I mean sure if they forgot to give you some tomato sauce for the chips or what, but feels like your defiling the sacred nature of take-away and sheer point of being lazy
But I guess we all have our preferences, so I don’t mean to offend

I like bacon and cheese. Note, cheese. Not some processed, semi diary product. Cheese.
Also, I am not allowed to consume sugar, so sometimes all that survives the lazy burger out is the patty……
I live for being lazy with food. Eat out a fair bit (less with child), not burgers.

Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 17:16
Not neoclassical-ly. or even necessary
Natural sugar is not fine. Fruit sugar, for example, is not fine.
Ryanza
March 18, 2015 at 17:20
The fiber in fruits and fruit seeds, doesn’t rush the liver with sugar. And sugar from fruits doesn’t need to go through the liver for processing first. So energy goes where it’s needed faster.
So fruit sugar is fine.
Brady miaau
March 18, 2015 at 22:31
True, but enough Fruit Sugar, like in Fruit Juice is not the best for, say, diabetics or other people who need to keep their blood sugar levels, um, level.
But as far as natural sugar goes, wife got me Cocunut sugar to put in my tea. Sort of ok. Much, much better than some other sweeteners I have told are “the best”, that just change the taste of the tea OR are completely ineffective. Stevia, for example, I cannot stand. Also, natural.
But yeah, just putting it out there.Medical opinion does seem very divided on the subject.
Ryanza
March 19, 2015 at 13:21
All sugar is bad for you.
Fruit juice, coke, favoured sugar water, what do they have in common? No fiber and the rate at which that sugar gets to the blood is really fucking high.
So when it comes to drinking liquid, stay away from drinking the sugar.
Eating the fucking sugar. Processed sugar is in everything. Breakfast cereals, bread, can food, there’s just ails and ails of sugar in food.
Curb your sugar intake.
Sugar replacement, fake sugar, sugar alternatives, they all bad. If your sugar does not come wrapped in fiber, then it’s no good.
Sugar comes from sugar cane. The sugar is wrapped in fiber, that’s nature.
Whole fruits and veg is the only natural food source where the sugar is wrapped up in fiber. Fiber with sugar means slower intake rate of sugar into the bloodstream. Simple as that. Fiber means you get fuller faster.
Science says men are allowed about 9 teaspoons of sugar a day.
9 teaspoons of sugar = 1 can of coke.
9 teaspoons of sugar = 1 small bar of chocolate.
1 can of coke = about 2 large fruits (apples, peaches, ect). How fast can you drink a can of coke. How fast can you eat 2 large fruits. Can of coke = instant sugar into bloodstream. 2 large fruits, it takes awhile because of the fiber. Eating more than 2 fruit doesn’t increase the sugar absorption rate. Just adding to the que. Drinking more than 1 can of coke = higher absorption rate of sugar.
Just putting it out here.
And medical opinions differ because of who pays for sugar studies. If Coke pays millions for a sugar study, you can be sure that study will say sugar is fine.
Say no to drinks with sugar in. Even the drinks we add sugar too. Say no to all the foods with processed sugar.
Say yes to whole fruits and veg. Say yes to meat protein with no added sugar.
It’s more of a mindset game and personal challenge. Because sugar makes you think everything is so good. But it’s not good.
Don’t support Sugar. The more we know…
