My cohorts are freshly returned from Los Angeles, where they went to cover all things E3. I have a love/hate relationship with the city. Most of it is tacky urban hell, not too far removed from Johannesburg really – only with more plastic people and far more fast food. If there’s one thing I love about LA though, it’s the readily available Mexican food – and whenever I’m there, I gorge on the city’s array of tacos.
And no, I don’t mean that crunchy-shelled tex-mex nonsense they keep trying to peddle to us, filled as they are with ground beef. I mean the real things, filled with slowly roasted pork, garnished with lime and cilantro. And no, I DON”T care that I’ve written about tacos before. Because goddamit, I want some tacos. Or a taquito. Or some empanadas. A tostada maybe? I really should have gone to E3.
In Other News: Another one bites the Phantom Dust, wrong Final Fantasy VII is coming this year, and the Vita TV didn’t capture consumer imagination. Because it was pants.
