It’s very seldom that I’ll be happy to eat something that doesn’t have protein gleaned from the corpse of a tasty animal – but there’s no way I can ever, ever resist the post-breakfast Burek pastries the Greeks (and other Ottoman influenced people!) are so fond of.
Yes, I lose all resolve for spanakopita and tiropita. The Spanakopita pairs up spinach and feta, wrapped lovingly in flaky phyllo pastry, while the tiropita skips out on the green stuff, stuffing it with more cheese instead. Traditionally, they’re eaten after a simple breakfast, but I’d eat them all day, given half the chance.

Avengers should be doing well – good movie. Just looks like that “Joker” is overdoing it a bit. Just looks insane, not psychopathic or dangerous at all. I think we need a carnivorous Tasty Tuesday soon with a PROPER piece of meat on the table 🙂
