Lamb is luscious, delicious stuff. Gamy, and marbled with fat so it’s almost always succulent and moist. Cooked, usually, with piny aromatics; whole sprigs of rosemary and garlic for that sort of rustic chic that makes good lamb taste like home. Whether it’s a Sunday roast, a grilled rack ready for noisettes, a tjop on the braai, there’s something about lamb that’s irresistible.
Lamb is easily one of my favourite things to eat – so it confuses me to find people who refuse to eat the stuff. What’s wrong with you people?
