I finally went to watch the new Tron movie last night, and as gamers we should all really appreciate what it actually means to people like us.

That said, watching it in 3D was the worst idea ever. Paying R60 for a ticket (and then being told we have to buy our own 3D glasses) only to have the 3D pretty much mess the entire movie up for me. I actually spent half the movie watching it blurry without the glasses on rather than watching it in 3D with them on.

With a movie like Avatar I enjoyed the 3D thanks to the large open areas, well lit areas and beautiful designs. But watching neon lights run around in the dark in 3D wasn’t exactly the cinematic experience I wanted. The movie itself was still pretty cool though, I think I’ll watch it again properly when it comes out on Blu-ray, so that I can actually see what the hell was going on to begin with.

Anyways, here’s the news we didn’t post because Olivia Wilde is just so damn hot that it hampered our productivity. Really.
