For some reason or other, the iTunes Appstore is having a crazy firesale on a huge number of games, from both indie and commercial publishers.
Stand out titles on sale include Mirror’s Edge, which is going for just $1.99, Monkey Island 1 and 2 special editions for just $.99 a piece. Other $.99 bargains include Geometry Wars touch, Pac-Man Championship Edition and Predators.
Remember, the ZA Appstore is pretty worthless, so you’ll need a US account to take advantage of these specials, instructions for which you can find here. You can then purchase iTunes gift cards from our friends over at Evopoints.

This kinda sucks. really keen on Monkey Island, but I don’t feel like buying a $10 voucher

There’s plenty worth buying that’s on sale, so a $10 voucher wouldn’t go amiss!

I only want Monkey Island though. not much else there that I want to justify spending 100 bucks.

I hear that the controls of Monkey Island on the iPhone and very good though, Geoff is right though, there are some really great games in that list going for next to nothing.
