It seems that all you need to do these days to fill seats in theater’s is add Kevin Hart to the movie and people will come a watching, and why not the guy has been spewing out one hit after another and lets face it, his movies are loads of fun. So it is no surprise that news has just been dropped that screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are currently busy penning a script for Ride Along 3, starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.
The previous films were big hits at the box office, netting over $278 million combined off a much smaller budget to produce. Here is what director Tim Story has to say about the project.
We’re writing the script right now, we’re writing away and basically, I’m waiting to see some pages and we’re excited for the idea and what it can be and of course bringing Kevin [Hart] and Ice Cube back together because they are the greatest odd couple in the world, I’m impatiently waiting for a script to be given to me. We have some great ideas.
While its way to early to talk about a release date or any plot details, based off the rate that Hart releases movies it wont be too long before we get a teaser trailer and the movie get made. As a big fan of Kevin Hart and Ice Cube I don’t hate this news at all.
