Kill Bill 3 is still a possibility

Acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino has stated in 2015 that directing 10 films might be his limit. Now that is of course not set in stone and Tarantino himself has said that there is no guarantee his foray into film making will definitely stop there. Lets just say for argument’s sake that this is the case, could a third Kill Bill be one of his last projects?

Tarantino spoke to the guys at Variety recently and here is what he had to say on Kill Bill 3:

I’m not committing to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Bride made one more appearance before the whole thing is said and done…I am talking to Uma [Thurman] about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I’d written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use.

Now what could we expect for a third Kill Bill story? Tarantino has mentioned that there is stuff that never made it to the original movies and there were those deleted scenes, but what makes the most sense to me is the idea of Nikki, the daughter of Vernita Green (Vivika A. Fox) going on a revenge mission for the death of her mother.

This is a plot that seems more natural to me and if  you remember Beatrix (Uma Thurman) slays her mother in front of her eyes and tells Nikki that she’d be waiting if one day she grew up and wanted revenge. That’s classic sequel setting up right there if I ever seen one before.

I would love to see this movie get made, but then again I am a bit of a Tarantino fanboy so what do I know, although I personally don’t see him retiring as early as he claims he will –  so I think Tarantino will squeeze this project in somewhere.

Do you think we will only get a couple more movies from Tarantino? Do you think a Kill Bill sequel should be one of those last projects? Let us know in the comment section below.
