MAD MAX: FURY ROAD starts filming next month

The Road Warrior is finally returning.

One of the most difficult and time-consuming sequels to ever be realised, has at long last managed to set a concrete date for filming, and unlike all those other, other times that director George “Happy Feet” Miller had promised to bring back his cult favourite Australian hero, it looks like this time, nothing is going to stop him.Originally meant to start filming last year in November, while on location in the New South Wales part of Australia, Miller’s set was besieged with torrential rains, that had an unexpected side-effect.

After all that downpour, the thunderdome that was the NSW desert area began producing scores of beautiful fields of flowers, resulting in nature once again winning the “two production crews enter, only natural flora leaves!” contest.

So after being forced to ditch that location, Miller packed up and instead settled on Namibia, for his post-apocalyptic wasteland project. Charlize Theron, who has a major role in the film, alongside Tom “Bat-breakin'” Hardy as Max, recently spoke to MTV about the film plans, revealing that shooting was now scheduled for June, now that all the props and vehicles had finally made their way over.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m totally excited to see the return of the raggedy man.
