Midweek Movie Mouth-off: which classic horror should get a reboot?

I know, I know. Reboots. We all tend to either dislike them, or absolutely hate them. That being said, I’m sure there are some classic horror movies that could be redone for the modern age? It’s not just about introducing a classic horror to a new audience, but updating on effects and making them, well, scarier.

Let’s be honest, movie technology has advanced in leaps and bounds. I’m not saying that they should go overboard, but some horror movies are terribly dated, and that could detract from the experience for newer viewers.

Take a classic like The Exorcist. I know it was scary then, and I’m sure it’s still scary now, but you can see the effects if you know what I mean. You can tell how the tricks were done and that takes some of the overall effect away.

So from the ancient Nosferatu or even The Fly, which horror movie would you like to see redone with modern movie magic?
