Hooboy! After all this talk of scary, gory movies these past few weeks, I will admit that I’m slightly agitated. I am not a horror movie fan at the best of times, so theming the Midweek Movie Mouth-Off around them has been quite nerve-wracking for me! So, let’s take a break and talk about the best movies the scaredy-cats can watch on Halloween.

A great movie for this would be Beetlejuice. You can’t beat it, it’s a total classic, and the only really scary part about it is the claymation. If you prefer something more modern, Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie is a great one too. But my favourite might have to be ParaNorman. If you haven’t seen it yet, this Halloween would be the perfect time to give it a try.

Those would be my three picks for Halloween, let’s hear your suggestions for spooky-ish movies that I don’t have to watch while hiding behind the couch.

The Crow. Not scary, set on Devil’s Night, the night before Halloween.
