According to the theory of evolution, we're only supposed to be getting smarter as a species, which is why it seems almost counter intuitive that a film like Annihilation has been pulled from cinemas because it was "too smart". It may just be a euphemism for "not very good though". Does this new trailer help give us any more confidence in this movie?
