Warner Bros recently announced plans to turn Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them into a five movie series, so to ensure that this option remains as viable as possible, the studio is naturally pumping up excitement for the film. Their latest effort takes the form of 3 different TV spots and some additional character posters as well. And if the popularity of the previous Potter films is anything to go by, I would suggest becoming very familiar with these TV spots, because you are likely to see them A LOT.
Whether you are a Potter fan or not, the film is so far looking really good and is set to make a huge splash on the Box Office when it arrives. While you might find it a little difficult to think of how a further five movies have been added to the already popular cannon – especially ones without the famous boy wizard – there is no doubt that they are packing a lot of well thought out characters into this movie, which certainly doesn’t appear like it will be short for content.
The story opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
Fantastic Beasts is being directed by David Yates and was written by none other than author J.K. Rowling herself. The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan, and Faith Wood-Blagrove.
Warner Bros. has Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them set to be released on November 18, 2016.
