I give PE a lot of grief, but only because I care about my hometown. Or more precisely, it’s complete lack of any decent places to eat out at. Look, there’s plenty of franchises within PE. And that’s the biggest problem. Most of them are either KFC, Wimpy or Cassies, places which serve the kind of food that isn’t exactly synonymous with quality.
But I’ve finally found a great burger joint. Nothing beats a great patty on a decent bun. I’ve eaten at Rocomama’s in Johannesburg before, and thoroughly enjoyed it. They’ve finally got a branch in PE now, which means that I can finally chow down on a quality hamburger that doesn’t require me having to fly on over to LA to find an In ‘N Out on Hollywood boulevard.
If you’ve never tried it, then you might want to take some Vaseline with you for the Chili Cheese Bomb burger. A massive beef patty, melted cheese dripping off it, topped with fresh chillis, bacon and a liberal dose of spicy mayonnaise. It may burn like my hatred for real estate agents, but it’s worth every single boiling bite. In fact, I think I might go have another one tonight.

I’m very specific about my burgers lately (I used to eat anything with something that resembles meat between two pieces of bread).
I like my burgers pure. Good patty, not a lot of sauce and it must have pickles on. A burger without pickles is just not a burger.

Grill a fresh pattie (not pre-frozen) on a braai, toss on the cheese while it’s still cooking topped with pickled jelapeno. Doesn’t need sauce or but will need a sesame seed roll lightly butterd or even ‘slightly’ grilled
Only fresh cheddar slices will work btw

Hudson’s doesn’t make their own beer, think Jack Black does the Pale Ale for them.
The Signal Gun is still a bit hit and miss, depends really on the batch you getting. I normally go for beer taste beforehand and then order the best tasting one. Bit miffed with them recommended them to a friend for their once in a blue moon date night and then they got shockingly crap service.

a nice strong-ish cheese, pecorino perhaps, or something blue of you like.
some chips. Perhaps some Ementhaler cheese on the side, as a chaser.
Garnish to taste.
Small amount of sauce, with mustard for the flavour switching properties of mustard.
Home-made bread, rising in the oven as the patties are made. Hmm, warm bread rolls.

You get cream based sauces out of a tin, then you get cream based sauces made from milk, cream and other 100% fresh ingredients..
It makes a difference.

In my twenties, my friends would pop round so often I started getting food donations from them. Their favourites, judging by the amount of times they scoffed it down uninvited,, was Stew, Roast Chicken (hmm, cloves), pasta and sauce. *Edit* my fav was lasagne, made over hours. But that was so much effort AND it seemed I was the only one that loved it anyway.
At least twice I cooked and wound up having to order in, cause they scoffed the whole lot.

Convection Oven Microwave.. Put the chicken on stand, stuff with herbs, spices and butter, on the inside. Then, while cooking, stop it every few minutes and spoon the sauce that drops off over the skin.
When nearly cooked, grill for a few minutes to get the skin crispy, with the inside still juicy (stuffed the inside with butter and herbs, remember). I never had cholesterol problems.

I have previously said that 2016 is very likely for Cyberpunk 2077 release. The game was announced in 2012. So 2016 should be about 4 – 5 years of development and that equals a game.
2017 we looking at 6 years of development. But maybe they need a polish or two.
