I am tired today. In fact, most of us are feeling a bit braindead today, probably because Darryn was sick yesterday and opted to suck out our life forces. He’s totally cured today, but the rest of us are dragging. Why do you do this to us, Darryn?

In Other News: Fallout 4 prepares for console mods, China gets a new console and Total War: Warhammer just keeps looking better.

    1. Fallout 4 mods on my Xbox One. I wonder if I still care enough to replay it so soon? I wonder if the mods are just too late.

    2. Stellaris. Man, I want to play that game. BUT the company that makes it are so well known for complicated games, with MASSIVE learning curves for the game to get fun. So, they say this is different, easier than any other game they made. Great. So is that like saying, but I did not kill them, I just kneecapped them and maimed them for life, making sure those police officers, while not being dead, might wish they were when they are ALL medically boarded.

I LOVE them. I just tend to, family man, job, job, job, family man, find that the time it takes to properly learn a game is tricky. I love CIV V. I LOVE Endless Legend. Fun games.

I LOVE MASTER OF ORION 2. Galvic, yeah sure.

I basically just play 4 X games and large RPGS.

Horizon. I followed Horizon for years in development. It came out. I learnt it. It did not satisfy, after learning how to play it. I felt cheated.

            Galciv almost the same.

I want to be sure, before I commit the time.that it will be worth it.

            Perhaps on holiday in June?

            May 11, 2016 at 16:34

Pen + paper is the traditional method.

Nowadays you can push on a piece of glass with lights behind it, or the middle ground called a keyboard. Not sure which you prefer.

Either way. I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist the “joke”. Moving on – I know what you mean. I have ADHD though, so that’d be my issue if I ever tried to write a poem about Mary. Wait, what were we talking about?

          • DragonSpirit009

            May 11, 2016 at 16:37

I can’t use a pen or pencil anymore to write. Just the other day I had trouble remembering how to write the letter “g”. I had too go too MS Word to figure it out!
My issues is I see the story in my head but I have no idea how to put it in words.

          • miaau

            May 11, 2016 at 16:39

start simply, even jotting down bullet points for a story is a help. That can form the basis for your story board.

Trying to be too fancy in writing something definitely does not help. Simple is best, convey a simple, but powerful message that resonates with your audience.

            May 11, 2016 at 16:44

I know. I’ve tried many methods. I have notes. I have some of the research also. It’s still a bit hard. And I use simple phrases and stuff. My language is to bad for big words. But the one lady at work said she will be my ghost writer at some point so maybe that works.

Spider-maps work wonders too. Old school, but it’s a great way to bring plot points together

          • miaau

            May 11, 2016 at 16:50

yeah, that too. I just do not resonate with that or the old “mind mapping” techniques. It seems my brain does not function that way.

also, ADHD may mean I need different stimulus?

The last movie I saw was Force Awakens at cinema (and before that YEARS ago) and I saw the trailer for Angry Birds movie started and I cringed. And then I laughed for most of the trailer. Trailer was funny.

Something tells me, though, I saw most of he funnies in that 4 minute trailer.

I still have no idea what the game is. I know one of our staff would play it on the phone to the point that it actually became a problem. It was sort of like an addiction

That, Flabby Bird, that Candy Crush thing. Casual stuff. Never tried it. I honestly just don’t have the time, especially when I’d rather just play something decent on my pc.
