It is the family responsibility and the gaming and the work that is a bit tough for me.
Been playing the crew over weekend, mostly because
a) it was free and kinda fun to play
b) I can play it with a toddler underfoot

When the kids get a little older and join you – then you start to have fun again in games. Generally the type of game you play might change, but you have a lot of fun.

Like, I’m picturing the time I could be doing my garden instead – it’s looking shoddy. Or at that half-finished painting that could be 4 already. And my 2 guitars gathering dust. The little things around the house that I never get to. And all because gaming is more appealing, and none of those are pressing.

I know how that feels. In my thirties, I taught myself to write music, I bought DJ gear and learned that whole thing. Taught myself many things that I thought would add value to my life but in the end, None of that stuff added much value to my life apart from a neat distraction.
