Once you start you can't stop in this trailer for Vince Vaughn's TERM LIFE

Whenever Vince Vaughn takes a walk outside of his wise cracking comfort zone, I begin to get concerned. The guy certainly has talent and there have been one or two performances that show that he can get the job done whether its dramatic or comedic (I’m thinking of Vaughn’s FBI Agent Peter Novak in The Cell or his performance as Rick Schwartz in Starsky and Hutch).

This time around Vaughn can be seen doing a bit of both in Term Life as a thief that gets framed by a corrupt cop (Bill Paxton) for the murder of a drug lord’s (Jordi Molla) son. After grabbing his rebellious daughter (Hailee Steinfeld) they go on the run to stay alive – well at least for 21 days so that his daughter can collect on his life insurance.

That trailer starts off promising but I’m not convinced yet and these guys definitely didn’t do themselves any favors with that embarrassingly terrible Photoshop work on the poster that Kervyn so eloquently says look like “they copy-pasted Luke Wilson’s hair onto Vaughn’s head”. But hey, I’m a sucker for even the slightest bit of witty Vince Vaughn banter that I can get and will inevitably find what Term Life has to offer when it releases on April 8th 2016. The film also stars Jonathan Banks, Mike Epps, Jon Favreau, Shea Whigham, William Levy, Taraji P. Henson, Annabeth Gish, Terrence Howard, and ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez.

Any poster that has ‘out of time’ on it loses my attention…
