Prometheus Trailer – An Alien Prequel is coming

The Aliens trilogy was easily one of the most terrifying things I watched as a child and I still to this day am not sure if I’ll ever be able to watch the series again. But I guess that’s the point of making scary movies and now with the rumoured released of an Alien prequel called Prometheus I guess I’ll be putting my big boy pants to the test.

This trailer was released earlier in December but since we weren’t around then I thought it would be good to put it up anyway. Who’s excited?

Oh and did I mention that the lovely Charlize Theron is in it as well?

Easily my most anticipated movie of 2012. I am an Alien fanboy, so there are so many easter eggs that I can see in that trailer.
In fact, I think I might as well dissect it and do an article on it later.

You totally should. But did you hear about Scott explicitly saying that this is not a prequel to Alien? What’s up with that?

Yeah, but as has been proven in the past, filmmakers/actors outright lie to protect their film’s surprises.

Personally, I don’t think this is a prequel in the strictest sense, but it sure as hell is set in the the same universe.

That would be awesome actually.. I’m not an Alien fanboy so all I saw was the Space Jockey.. I think that’s what it’s called at least

This is one of my most anticipated movies of the year. The trailer even convinced me to buy the whole Alien Anthology on BD. Even the shitty last 2 movies.

I can’t wait to be terrified. Ridley Scott knows his shit.

definitely looks good that, hoping it restores some of my faith in a series that in my opinion was hurt by the alien V predator series, they really should have just kept the story arcs separate, that much awesomeness in one movie could never possibly have worked.
